Responsibilities of baseball players that dope

The Major League Baseball survived some troublesome periods of time. It experienced 2 situations that are considered to be two world wars for baseball: the 1919 Black Sox scandal and the betting of Pete Rose on baseball. Nowadays the MLB experiences steroid era. It is widely believed that it will be capable to survive this period as well. There was a case that had a significant influence on baseball too. It was the case against Barry Bonds.
Of course, Barry Bonds was not the only player of the MLB who applied performance-enhancing drugs. Moreover, he is not the last of them. Numerous baseball players have administrated banned preparations to promote performance. Many baseball players have obtained praise and millions of dollars due to intake of banned medicines.
The sums of money which can be obtained justify the dangers connected with administration of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs. The baseball players who apply banned medications don’t care so scrupulously about their reputation, as they trouble about obtaining of money. Such persons are responsible for the influence which is spread upon fans that try to be similar to them and upon future generation that will have hot discussions about baseball and the steroid era.
Nobody doubts that any baseball player who uses steroids corrupts his honor. It is made only because of money. Such person trades own reputation only for obtaining money.
Nevertheless, it is believed that future of baseball is without steroid use. Numerous baseball players have talents and proper skills; they train hardly and dedicate themselves totally to this sport. They are honest people. They keep their reputation. Such players love baseball truly. They don’t care just about money. Such baseball players are motivated by true love to baseball.
In fact, the MLB prohibits steroids. But unluckily, there are individuals in every sport that take unfair advantage due to steroid use.
Our hope is light: we believe that the day comes, when we’ll see sportspersons who compete not because of administration of steroids and other related preparations but due to natural talents, skills and hard trainings.
