Aggressiveness occurs in steroid users during driving

Although it is not yet displayed scientifically whether uncontrolled aggressive behavior is an adverse result of steroids, these preparations are demonized for certain criminal actions quite frequently.
Michael Barton, a person from Britain, hit a Ford Fiesta, while he was driving his Volkswagen Golf. Paul Gard was a motorist of Ford Fiesta. Barton had overtaken Paul Gard. But then Michael Barton had to pull back in front of him, since another vehicle was driving the other way. Paul Gard flashed him. Thus, he had to brake suddenly. Barton got maddened, stopped his car, broke the wing mirror of Paul Gard’s car and hit Gard in the face. Then Gard’s wife took her mobile and informed police. While she was calling, Barton drove off calmly.
Michael Barton, a 21-year-old man that has a child of two years old, uses steroids for bulking results. So, it has been said that these substances affected his behavior. The defense attorney for this young person affirmed that steroids influenced on temperament of his client, since these preparations increased his testosterone levels.
Previously Michael Barton was convicted for certain crimes, including domestic violence. Last year he pleaded guilty to an assault, criminal damage and driving carelessly due to his anger following assaults.
The judge Patrick Hooton claimed that he was not sure that steroids led to improper behavior. But he added that it was totally mad to get infuriated and hit a man in the face only because he flashed him. The judge noticed that Barton’s behavior was very dishonorable and he announced: “you ought to go to prison”.
So, Michael Barton was given 6-month jail sentence suspended for a year; he was also enforced to pay 500 dollars in compensation and ?277 for damage of the vehicle.

T: E ratio testing becomes worthless

Sportspersons become more and more sophisticated in usage of steroids. They study new methods to mask their application of forbidden medications. Some sportspersons spend time studying scientists’ conclusions which could help them to hide that they dope. Today a method has been found: athletes can mask intake of testosterone by drinking of green tea.
Testosterone is a hormone that is produced in body naturally. Thus, it can be difficult for anti-doping agencies to define that an athlete has used testosterone. T: E ratio testing is commonly utilized by anti-doping organizations. Such tests can manifest uncommon ratio of testosterone to epitestosterone in urine. But it doesn’t have capacity to display difference between testosterone which has been produced in body naturally and that introduced into body with the help of injections, gels, etc.
Declan Naughton and his colleagues at Kingston University ( London) have found that green tea contains such compounds which are called “catechins”. They are able to inhibit the enzyme UGT2B17. This enzyme induces joining glucuronic acid to testosterone. If UGT2B17 is inhibited, less testosterone glucoronide is excreted in urine.
Catechins, the substances that may mask application of testosterone, are in green and white tea. Black tea doesn’t contain such compounds.
Naughton and his colleagues have conducted certain experiments. They conclude that a cup of strong green tea hides usage of testosterone.
So, those sportspeople who apply testosterone may lower measures of testosterone that are excreted in urine by drinking of green or white tea. Green or white tea may block excretion of testosterone, increasing circulating levels of this hormone.
The World Anti-Doping Agency was informed about the findings by the specialists. If this process occurs, it is worthless to test urine. Blood tests should be performed for detection of testosterone use.
Olivier Rabin, the WADA’s expert, affirms that regular checks of blood steroids will be added. Everything will be done by anti-doping officials in order to avoid fooling of urine tests.

Analysis of drugs sent to Wim Vansevenant changed case dramatically

The case connected with Wim Vansevenant, a former Belgian rider, altered dramatically. An analysis demonstrated that the doping medications which were ordered by him didn’t contain the contents enumerated on the labels. He was cheated by the company where he ordered the medicines.
Last year some packages sent to Wim Vansevenant by an Australian company were intercepted by customs officials. It was written on the intercepted bottles that they contained the doping drug TB-500. It is a peptide hormone that has ability to increase muscle power and promote healing. An investigation was started by the Belgian authorities. It was suspected that Wim Vansevenant supplied the Omega Pharma-Lotto team with doping medicines. This person rode professionally 10 years, from 1998 to 2008. Last 6 years of his riding career he was working with this team.
An analysis of the bottles seized by customs illustrated that they contained only amino acids. Wim Vansevenant’s attorney claimed that the charges had to be dropped. He pointed out that since the medication was not connected with doping, the former sportsperson didn’t deserve to be punished.
Johan Lescrauwaet, the prosecutor’s spokesperson confirmed that the contents didn’t correspond to the name of the medicine that was indicated on the label and to the statements of the former rider.
Only amino acids were found in the bottles. No any doping drug. Thus, there is no any evidence that Wim Vansevenant provided doping drugs to other individuals.
The hearing of former professional athlete was scheduled to be later.

Bruce Goldberger doesn’t testify on behalf of government in case against Roger Clemens

Testimonies of the prominent toxicologist Bruce Goldberger will probably influence significantly on decision of the court in the case against Roger Clemens. Bruce Goldberger is the Professor of Pathology and Director of Toxicology at the University of Florida College of Medicine. This expert testified on behalf of Roger Clemens. However he was invited in order to replace Don Catlin, the director of the WADA UCLA Medicine, Goldberger’s testimonies didn’t correspond to those which are commonly presented by anti-doping organizations. He testified on behalf of the accused baseball player.
Bruce Goldberger has gained his celebrity due to his participation in various news programs. Even during such programs he doesn’t refrain from critical words. He criticized several anti-doping organizations, including the WADA.
The toxicologist criticized feds in the case related to Roger Clemens. They based on “beer can evidence” provided by Brian McNamee to support that Roger Clemens took steroids and HGH. Brian McNamee, the former personal trainer of this sportsperson, presented a beer can containing utilized needles and syringes which had traces of such steroids, as Sustanon, Primobolan Depot and Deca Durabolin and were mixed allegedly with blood of Roger Clemens. McNamee was keeping the beer can over 6 years. Bruce Goldberger noticed that such basis was not reasonable.
Bruce Goldberger confirmed that it was impossible to base on “beer can evidence”. He noticed that the accusation couldn’t be proven because the theory of contamination could present.
So, Bruce Goldberger didn’t support the evidence used by the feds. Earlier the toxicologist also expressed criticism linked with evidence utilized by certain anti-doping agencies.
Some years ago the toxicologist Bruce Goldberger testified on behalf of Floyd Landis, an American celebrated cyclist, when this sportsperson appealed positives for steroids. A WADA-accredited lab situated in France found traces of exogenous testosterone; T: E ratio and carbon isotope ratio tests were utilized by the lab. Bruce Goldberger expressed similar words and criticism during the appeal linked with Floyd Landis.
Bruce Goldberger noticed during an interview that the WADA used inadequate methods and violated rights of sportspeople in order to achieve the success in anti-doping programs.
Floyd Landis didn’t have success in his appeal and acknowledged that he had used steroids, EPO and several other related medicines.
No one knows which results will be reached by Roger Clemens. Will the government prove that he has lied before the Congress? Will he admit to taking prohibited drugs? Or will be the results opposite?

No changes were seen in physical appearance of Roger Clemens before, during and after working with McNamee

It is known by each baseball fan that Roger Clemens is accused in obstruction of justice. It is affirmed that he has lied before Congress about usage of steroids and HGH.
Rusty Hardin claimed that Roger Clemens’ muscularity didn’t change greatly before, during and after his working with Brian McNamee. He confirmed that this aspect proved that Roger Clemens hadn’t used steroids and other related products.
Increase of muscle mass is usually utilized by federal prosecutors as proof that a person uses steroids or/and other performance-enhancing drugs. But this tendency was not used during the case against Roger Clemens. No one could affirm that muscles of Roger Clemens manifested that he had used steroids and HGH. It is one of differences between the case against Roger Clemens and that against Barry Bonds.
As for the governmental case against Barry Bonds, federal prosecutors called numerous individuals in the trial who were able to testify that anabolic steroids caused significant changes in physical appearance of this sportsperson. They confirmed that intake of steroids led to increase of muscle mass, increased size of the head and testicular shrinkage in Barry Bonds.
Thus, Rusty Hardin showed 4 photos of Roger Clemens. The photos manifested physical appearance of Roger Clemens, including the time when Clemens was working with Brian McNamee. Hardin pointed out that the pictures displayed that there were no changes in physical appearance that could manifest that he applied steroids and HGH.
The attorney Rusty Hardin noticed that the pictures manifested only the process of ageing. The masseur Cheryl Redfern also confirmed that she didn’t observe any changes in physique of Roger Clemens. Roger Clemens had neither back acne, nor abnormal development of breast tissue, nor dramatically enhanced muscles.
Phil Garner, a former baseball player, also affirmed that there were not any substantial changes in physical appearance and performance of Roger Clemens during working with the coach Brian McNamee.
Steve Durham, the Assistant US Attorney tried to discredit the affirmation about lack of physical changes in Roger Clemens during the cross-examination of the former baseball player Phil Garner. He claimed that while some steroids increased muscle mass, others didn’t promote enhancing muscles. Thus, he affirmed that the photos could display nothing about steroid use.
Federal prosecutors desire to take advantages in both cases: in the case against Roger Clemens and in that against Barry Bonds. While they affirm that changes in physical appearance of Barry Bonds manifest that he has used steroids, lack of physical changes in Roger Clemens doesn’t prove that he hasn’t administered steroids.

Anders Breivik planned massacre scrupulously

Anders Behring Breivik was accused in murder of  70 persons. He bombed governmental buildings in Oslo (Norway). Certain teenagers of the Workers’ Youth League camp were also murdered by this criminal on Utoya island in July 2011.
This criminal prepared for the crimes significantly. He admitted that he had had cycles with steroids.  Since he utilized steroids, these medications were demonized for the crimes by many journalists.
But what did experts confirm? Joerge Moerland, a professor of forensic toxicology at the Norwegian Institute of Public Health, contested affirmations of these journalists. The expert Moerland claimed that anabolic steroids didn’t contribute in rampage of this person. But the forensic toxicologist acknowledged that he couldn’t contest that these preparations could cause aggressiveness in Anders Breivik.
An “ECA stack”, a combination of caffeine, aspirin and ephedrine, was also used by Anders Breivik. Actually, this stack is normally taken by bodybuilders for fat burning and pre-workout stimulation. It was determined that Anders Breivik has utilized great amount of the stack. The amount administered by him was by 50 % greater than it is permitted under rules of European Union.
The forensic toxicologist Moerland noted that the killer’s behavior was more substantially affected by the “ECA stack” than steroids. He pointed out that ephedrine might lead to desire to be implicated in risky activities. Joerge Moerland noted that the murderer’s central nervous system had been affected by ephedrine.
Nonetheless, the toxicologist Joerge Moerland mentioned about limitation of the ECA’ influence. The quantity of caffeine consumed by Breivik was equal to circa 5 cups of coffee. Thus, the amount was not enough enhanced in order to be blamed for the crimes.
Breivik described his administration of steroids and dietary supplements in details. He also recommended other persons buying steroids at Alinshop.
The killer expressed his dislike of Dianabol because it could lead to water retention. He explained that Dianabol could add more body mass than users could carry. According to his statements, about 50 % of the mass gotten due to this steroid is liquid retention. Anders Breivik decided to take several stacks that were appropriate for his needs.
Anders Breivik learnt about advantages and disadvantages of different steroids in order to choose those who were appropariate for his needs. He confirmed that Testosterone Propionate had certain superiorities over Dianabol. He also suggested that combinations of Dianabol with Aromasin or usage of Dianabol followed by application of Winstrol could benefit obviously.
So, Breivik prepared for the massacre scrupulously. He spent time in order to choose and plan steroid cycles and intake of dietary supplements. He also pondered about each detail linked with attacks and murders.
Although certain individuals confirmed that Anders Breivik was legally insane, it’s wrong. It is obvious that the crimes have been committed consciously.

Spread of illegal usage of steroids in Australia due to outlaw motorcycle gangs

According to the newspaper “The Sydney Morning Herald”, outlaw motorcycle gangs are responsible for spread of illegal steroid use in Australia. The gangs receive high profit and decreased risks.
The detective Nick Bingham has claimed that New South Wales Police doesn’t focus on investigation related to usage of steroids but anabolic steroids become targets of investigations, when outlaw motorcycle gangs are arrested for violation of other laws.
According to Nick Bingham, however New South Wales police officers don’t raid houses of gangs for steroids, they find them, when searches for weapons and psychostimulant drugs are conducted.
Bingham has noticed that they ordinarily seize such amounts of steroids from motorcycle gangs which are only for personal use. Quantities of other products which are commonly found in possession of gangs are much greater than those of steroids.
Nick Bingham has claimed that criminals prefer administering anabolic steroids in order to build threatening muscular bodies. They desire to look big and powerful.
However the detective Nick Bingham assures that gangs have steroids just for personal usage, the newspaper “The Sydney Morning Herald” doesn’t agree with this statement. It is reported that motorcycle gangs are implicated in smuggling of steroids.
Although gyms are claimed to be the most important sources of steroids for bodybuilders, it is stated by “The Sydney Morning Herald” that some gyms have close connections with motorcycle gangs. The Herald claims that many seizures made by the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service are related closely to distribution of steroids by motorcycle gangs.
According to affirmations of Australian Customs, mail seizures of steroids have been enhanced greatly in comparison with past years.
Over 2, 000 seizures were made in 2009-2010 and over 5, 000 seizures of steroids were recorded in 2010-2011.
The most of seizures were linked with personal application of steroids smuggled by bodybuilders.

Will Walton allow David Segui testify in trial linked with Roger Clemens?

Federal prosecutors hope that the judge Reggie Walton will permit the Cuban-American former Major League Baseball first baseman David Segui to provide testimony in the trial related to the case of Roger Clemens. This person had a conversation with Brian McNamee, the former personal trainer of Roger Clemens. It is confirmed that they have discussed about intake of steroids by the former well-known baseball player.
McNamee was chosen to testify against Roger Clemens because he turned out to be the only person who had direct knowledge about administration of steroids and other related preparations by Clemens. Furthermore, Brian McNamee kept injection equipment: vials, syringes and needles which were allegedly mixed with Roger Clemens’ blood. DNA analysis was made in order to define whether it was Clemens’ blood.
Rusty Hardin, a defense attorney for Roger Clemens, confirmed that the steroid evidence was thought up by Brian McNamee after the interrogation by federal prosecutors.
But prosecutors confirmed that David Segui told them that Brian McNamee said that he saved certain things as evidence of steroid use by certain players in 2001. It was several years before Roger Clemens’ former trainer became the target of the investigation.
Information presented by David Segui to federal prosecutors differed significantly from that provided to Jim Baumbach, a sportswriter. His words presented to Jim Baumbach were published in an article in 2008. According to that piece of news, David Segui claimed that he had never discussed about steroids with his friend Brian McNamee.
David Segui found out about implication of Brian McNamee into the trial of Roger Clemens only in 2006, when he read a piece of news in the Los Angeles Times.
Segui discussed openly about personal intake of steroids and other related preparations. He said that players of the Major League Baseball asked him many times whether he had utilized steroids. The former Major League Baseball first baseman acknowledged that he had used them. But David Segui noticed that he had never discussed about usage of steroids with Brian McNamee.
Segui supported McNamee’s decision to keep evidence about administration of banned medicines by his clients. According to Segui, it is a right decision because sometimes innocent persons are blamed but guilty guys are covered. Thus, Brian McNamee could help to support the truth.
However the judge Walton was asked to permit David Segui to present testimony in the trial related to Roger Clemens, the judge didn’t announce his decision yet.

Victor Ortiz will not meet Andre Berto in July 2012

The professional boxer Andre Berto tested positive for the steroid Nandrolone. He was tested by the Voluntary Anti-Doping Agency (VADA).
He was scheduled to meet Victor Ortiz on June 23, 2012 in Los Angeles. Andre Berto agreed to submit to random drug testing before the match. Both “A” and “B” urine samples indicated about application of the anabolic steroid Nandrolone.
It was already the second time this month, when the VADA tested boxers and caught them using steroids. The first of them was the boxer Lamont Peterson. He was scheduled to fight against Amir Khan. It is quite ironically that Peterson requested random blood and urine testing. The drug test conducted by the VADA showed that testosterone of exogenous origin was in this fighter’s system certain weeks before the match.
Financial position of several companies suffered due to tests conducted by the VADA. For example, Golden Boy Promotions lost significant potential profit due to Lamont Peterson’s positives. It was determined by Richard Schaeffer, the CEO of Golden Boy Promotions, that the company lost 250, 000 dollars.
The cancelation of the fight between Andre Berto and Victor Ortiz will probably not influence greatly on financial position of certain promotional companies because another boxer will possibly replace Andre Berto and will meet Ortiz.
Andre Berto didn’t provide any explanation for his positives. He hired the attorney Howard Jacobs that would represent and defeat him.
Andre Berto claimed that he had never applied steroids. Thus, he noticed that he investigated with his attorney what could lead to positives for steroids. Andre Berto concluded that he had never cheated; he achieved success in sport due to hard work and dedication.
The attorney Howard Jacobs represented many other athletes who turned out to be victims of contaminated food supplements.
It is confirmed that since Nandrolone has quite long half life and it is detected easily, it is not widespread among dopers. But it has been shown many times that several nutritional supplements contained the ingredient nandrolone that caused positives for steroids. But since sometimes not each substance is listed on the label, sportspersons become victims of contaminated dietary supplements.

Ignorance of Nevada Athletic Commission about usage of steroids during trainings

The American fighter Chael Sonnen is allowed to take anabolic steroids. The doctor Timothy Trainor noted that this fighter actually suffered from hypogonadism.
What does this condition represent? Hypogonadism is connected with insufficient secretion of testosterone. Health care providers ordinarily prescribe testosterone replacement therapy in order to cure this disease.
This fighter has gotten a therapeutic use exemption (TUE). Thus, this fighter is allowed to utilize steroids for medical needs and fight against Anderson Silva at UFC 148 in July 2012.
According to instructions given by Chael Sonnen’s health care provider, he should apply injections of Testosterone Enanthate and Testosterone Cypionate twice weekly. The dosages that are prescribed have not been discussed. But under rules of the Nevada Athletic Commission, blood serum levels of testosterone in this athlete should be within normal range on the morning after the fight against Silva.
According to the doctor Trainor, those who fight, having TUE, must be tested on the morning after the match to determine whether they have used something right before the competition.
Trainor believes that testosterone can produce performance-enhancing effects, if it is applied right before the fight. He confirms that injections must not be applied in the days before a match to prevent increased testosterone levels.
But it seems that the NAC is not aware that steroids produce effects connected with enhancement of performance, not only if they are administered right before competitions. Intake of steroids influences essentially on performance during workouts before competitions. And the results remain even after users discontinue administering them.
The fighter Chael Sonnen had increased levels of testosterone at UFC 117. He admitted that he had tested positive because he had been on TRT.  He appealed his suspension and it was reduced to 6 months from one year. But Chael Sonnen didn’t have any TUE that time.

Prominent Bulgarian weightlifter was caught trafficking narcotics

Galabin Boevski, a Bulgarian weightlifter, World Champion and Olympic Champion, was sentenced to nine-month imprisonment due to illicit international drug trade. This sportsperson was arrested in October 2011 at the Guarulhos International Airport in Brazil after he tried to board the plane with eight kg of cocaine. Galabin Boevski was led to Bulgaria. The narcotic was estimated. It could be sold at the price of 500, 000 dollars on the streets in countries of Europe.
Galabin Boevski is a celebrated athlete in Bulgaria. He is considered to be one of the most celebrated weightlifters in this country.
First he was caught taking steroids in 1995. Undoubtedly, he was sentenced to suspension.
Then this sportsperson was caught using banned preparations in 2004. It was the second time when he violated doping laws. Actually, Boevski didn’t test positive for any steroids. But anti-doping officials defined that he didn’t provide own urine. The urine which was provided by this athlete belonged to another person. As a result, Galabin Boevski was sentenced to 8-year suspension. During serving the suspension he was caught trafficking cocaine.
Boevski became prominent due to his achievements in weightlifting. This sportsperson won gold medals at some competitions: at the 1999 World Weightlifting Championships in Athens, the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney and the 2001 World Weightlifting Championships in Antalya.
At the 2003 World Championships in Vancouver Galabin Boevski and his teammates from Bulgaria provided urine samples that belonged to another individual. It was determined by anti-doping officials that the three urine samples were produced by one person. These sportspersons were sentenced to suspensions. Boevski appealed the suspension but it was unsuccessful.
Galabin Boevski broke some world records at various competitions. He held 3 world records. The best lifts of this athlete were following: a 162, 5 kg snatch, 196, 5 kg clean and jerk and a 357, 5 kg of two lifts at the 1999 Championships.
It is strange but this athlete’s reputation wasn’t destroyed in Bulgaria. He used his status of celebrity in sports in order to launch a Technogym fitness center in Sofia. The center was named Atama Wellness and Spa.
Furthermore, the Brazilian judge Maria Isabel do Prado confirmed that Boevski utilized also his status of celebrity in sports in order to smuggle cocaine. She also noticed that this sportsperson utilized the participation of his daughter in a Brazilian tennis tournament to hide his illegal operations related to trafficking of the narcotic.
The weightlifter Galabin Boevski confirmed that he would appeal the conviction.

Federal prosecutors became confused after Andy Pettitte’s testimony at court linked with Roger Clemens

The desire of the federal government connected with the case of Roger Clemens was following: they hoped to prove that this athlete had lied before the Congress about usage of anabolic steroids and HGH. But the government was not able to reach this goal. It was expected that Andy Pettitte would affirm that Roger Clemens had told him that he had used the prohibited products during a conversation in 1999 or in 2000. But the affirmation of Andy Pettitee was shocking for prosecutors. He claimed that he couldn’t confirm that Roger Clemens had used steroids and HGH because he was not sure.
In fact, were the prosecutors of Roger Clemens disappointed by the testimony of Andy Pettitte? This man swore for the 2008 Congressional hearings on intake of steroids in the Major League Baseball that Roger Clemens admitted to administration of HGH. But he pronounced opposite statements at the Barrett Prettyman Federal Courthouse in Washington.
Michael Attanasio, a defense attorney for Roger Clemens, asked Andy Pettitte whether he may affirm that he is 50-50 that he has misunderstood Roger Clemens about HGH. Pettitte answered that he is indeed 50-50 about this aspect.
When Clemens’ prosecutors heard Pettitte’s answer, they didn’t know what to do. They stated that Pettitte never said this way, when he was asked certain times.
The U. S. District Court Judge Reggie Walton noted that he understood that Andy Pettitte’s answer has been conflicted. Actually, his statement was following: “I don’t know”.
The attorneys for Roger Clemens utilized the moment of the prosecutors’ confusion. They asked the judge to ignore the testimony of Andy Pettitte because he was 50-50. The attorneys claimed that he probably misunderstood Roger Clemens or he can’t remember the details of the conversation.
The government has stated that the jury still allows taking into account the testimony of Andy Pettitte. ASUSA Dunham has claimed that under federal laws jury is allowed to choose which affirmation to believe. He hopes that the jury will ignore the testimony which doesn’t support the government.
So, the testimony provided by Andy Pettitte and his wife led to problems. Testimonies of Andy’s wife during the first trial led to the declaration of a mistrial by the judge Walton.
Pettitte claims that he is a friend of Roger Clemens. Clemens must also claim that they are friends after Andy  Pettitte’s last testimony.

Are steroids responsible for shooting of five police officers?

Police officials raided Cullen Mutrie’s house for a steroid investigation. This ma shot five police officials at his home. One of them, the Greenland Police Chief Michael Maloney,  was killed; four police officials were wounded. The next morning Cullen Mutrie and a woman were found dead.
It is suspected that this person was administering anabolic steroids at the time of the shootout. Jane Young, the New Hampshire Associate Attorney General, noticed that toxicology reports were waiting in order to find out whether metabolites of steroids were in the body of Cullen Mutrie.
Police officials reported that Cullen Mutrie had been a very muscular man. This person worked at Genetix Fitness in Seabrook. It was reported that he was 6 feet 3 inches tall. He weighed 275 pounds. During a raid which took place in July 2010 law enforcement officials discovered anabolic steroids at his home. The police official Wayne Young found them in a coffee table. He said that he had noticed a plastic bag with several vials. One vial was with powder; others contained solution. The labels indicated that they were steroids.
The vials were analyzed by the New Hampshire State Crime Lab. It was confirmed that the vials contained such medicines, as Trenbolone Acetate, Sustanon 250, Boldenone Undecylenate and Nandrolone Decanoate.
John Miller, a professor of kinesiology, was asked whether a connection between the deadly actions and aggressiveness due to anabolic steroids could present. The specialist confirmed that it was plausible. But according to him, it is impossible to affirm that there was a direct connection between intake of anabolic steroids and the crime.
John Miller suggested that steroids which were on the black market were provided from legitimate pharmaceutical companies. But he has been mistaken because the majority of steroids that are sold on the black market are manufactured in underground labs. It is even suggested that Mutrie produced steroids.
Since a link between criminal actions and usage of steroids is a controversial question, not only policemen but also correspondents investigate the case linked with Cullen Mutrie.

Alistar Overeem never asked whether medications that were prescribed by his doctor contained prohibited ingredients

Alistar Overeem, a mixed martial artist, appealed his suspension which was received by him for intake of anabolic steroids on April 24, 2012. But Alistar Overeem couldn’t win his appeal against members of NSAC. Alistar Overeem forfeited his license for 9 months. Then he may obtain it again.
Alistar Overeem admitted that he had utilized injectable testosterone which was recommended him by his doctor. Overeem used the strategy that was claimed to be boring. He noted that he had never taken anabolic steroids or other related drugs knowingly. He tried to make the NSAC believe that his injectable application of steroids was accidental.
The defense attorney for Alistar Overeem was David Chesnoff who has been experienced in representing celebrated athletes.
David Chesnoff called the personal doctor of his client to testify during the appeal. It was suggested that Dr. Molina would testify in defense for his patient. Testimonies of this doctor were too pitiable. The physician Molina provided an explanation for recommendations of several medicines which resulted in Overeem’s enhanced testosterone: epitestosterone ratio.
The treating physician of Alistar Overeem admitted that he recommended and injected this fighter with a mixture of Toradol and Dexamethasone because he suffered from an injury. Actually, these medications are used for anti-inflammatory purposes. But intake of testosterone in case of injuries is not approved by the FDA.
It is suggested that the physician Molina hasn’t warned this athlete that these remedies contain the anabolic steroid testosterone. But it is obviously that he has never asked about it.
So, testimonies of the doctor Molina turned out to manifest lack of the evidence linked with therapeutic needs for administration of forbidden medicines by Alistar Overeem. The physician couldn’t provide any reasonable explanation which could justify recommendations of Toradol and Dexamethasone to his patient. Testimonies of the health care provider Molina worked against Alistar Overeem.
In fact, it became evident that Overeem was a victim of the physician’s quack.
But it is possible to suppose that this strategy was designed by the defense attorney for this athlete.
Pat Lundval, a commissioner, was probably impressed by the defense of Alistar Overeem. She even referred to him as to a “smart guy”.
The members of the NSAC seemed to believe that Overeem has been actually a great guy but he has surrounded himself with such questionable individuals, as the physician Moline. They advised him to look for more qualified professionals in the future.
